Tips & contribution terms

Tips ("tip the artist", "support the night") and fund contributions are voluntary payments to the artist or organizer you choose. In detail:

• They are not donations in a tax sense — no donation receipt can be issued — and you receive no goods or services in return.
• They are non-refundable once the payment is completed.
• The money goes to the recipient's own Stripe account. Festa deducts a platform fee of up to 5% before payout (0% for artists on Festa Pro); Stripe's payment processing charges are separate.
• Fund goals are targets, not promises: contributions reach the artist regardless of whether a goal is met, and the described use of funds is the artist's responsibility.
• Recipients are responsible for their own tax treatment of the amounts they receive.
